The Arctic Incident is the second installment of Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer. Artemis, the criminal mastermind, joins forces with Captain Short of LEPrecon in order to save the People, who were under threat from someone trying to take control over them, and to save Artemis’ father, Artemis Senior, who went missing 2 years ago in northern Russia.
This is a really good, amusing book. I would also say it is better than the original. The relationship between Artemis and Holly Short is wonderful and it is interesting to see how it evolves, especially as in the previous book Artemis kidnapped her! Looking forward to reading the next installment.
