Have *finally* finished Rebecca [amazon.co.uk]. Had a stint tonight reading it and couldn’t put it down. This is why it has taken me ages to finish this book – I couldn’t put it down! So I couldn’t pick it up whilst I had so much work to do as I knew I would just want to finish it!
It is the story of the new Mrs de Winter and her battle against the ex Mrs de Winter, Rebecca. Rebecca died and the heroine was fighting her presence in Manderlay until a mysterious twist of affairs towards the end. I love how we never find out the heroines name, she is always “Mrs de Winter.”
Great book.
Total pages – 428 pages.
