Well, Chester Zoo have bred some tortoises that are smaller than raspberries [news.bbc.co.uk]. These are Egyptian tortoises and they are so tiny. Gorgeous. It is part of the zoo’s animal survival aim, to assist animals that are near extinction. Three have hatched in the last few days.

It was Eurovision [eurovision.tv] on Saturday night. And Finnish band, Lordi won it. They are different to any other Eurovision winner as they were masked rockers. It was hilarious!

Well, Eilean Donan Castle was all lit up over the weekend, as per BBC News reported last week [news.bbc.co.uk].
It looks a bit daft IMHO. There are other images in this piece too.

The silly people who own Eilean Donan Castle, near my wonderful home town are going to paint the castle in the McRae clan tartan [news.bbc.co.uk]. This is, in my humble opinion, *the* dumbest idea in the whole wide world.
