Broadripple In Progress
Posted By Laura on May 19, 2007
Recently, I have been doing a lot of knitting and then undoing (as I mentioned previously) but I have recently started the Broadripple Socks [knitty.com] in the beautiful Fiesta Celestial Merino Dream yarn by Lucy Neatby. I am really liking this pattern and this yarn.
So gorgeous. The yarn knits up beautifully. I may have to purchase some more of it! Lucy Neatby does lots of other colours too.
I recently purchased a wool winder too. My mum was interested to see how the little cakes come out. Here is the fiesta yarn in a little cake. I think they are quite cute
In non-knitting related news, I got a haircut recently. Here are some photos for your perusal
I’m really loving the Celestial Merino myself. I nuzzle it every few rows. And the colors. I get such a thrill when a new shade appears on my needles, especially the green.
It’s interesting how much different your fiesta looks from mine (http://akaijen.typepad.com/jen_knits/2007/05/much_better.html) – your’s has more red. I like. I wonder if it’s worth buying another skein to see if it would come out totally different. Like I need more excuses to buy yarn.
