Stitches Galore

Well, this evening I casted on for my faceted gems lace wrap in a beautiful, fiddly lace weight, purple yarn. Which I love 
However, there were 375 stitches to cast on.
They are split into 22 sections of 16 stitches and 11 and 12 stitches. The wrap is knitted length ways, which will be quite a challenge.

I’ve never done lace before but I always choose things that are madly difficult as a first project!
Lots of photos to show you (I finished my first Broadripple sock and I have new, pretty yarn), but not now – Big Brother is on! And I have 375 stitches to just knit. w00t.
I love seeing people’s lace projects.
My first lace shawl is coming along slowly, but I’m really enjoying it.
Love your yarn too, even though I don’t usually go for purples. What is it?
