Different Shades of Blue

I am currently on my second basic sock. I ran out of yarn so needed some more. These are biiiiig socks! But I am enjoying knitting with them as the yarn is so yummy (colinette jitterbug).
I ordered a second skein from Get Knitted [getknitted.com] and have now started knitting the second sock. I have fully finished the cuff and am about to start the heel flap so thought I would just compare and make sure the cuffs are the same size. And look what I found:
Yep, they are different colours! It amazes me the difference. They are the same colourway (velvet damson – 118) but the shades are so different. One is a deeper, royal blue. Maybe it is the pedant in me, I don’t know. I never noticed the difference in hand dyed skeins before, but there you go 
Not much other news, to be honest. I want to try felting and quite like the Booga Bag that Jen has made. But I have so many queued items it’s unbelievable. There is simply not enough time in the day to knit!
