No Real Knitting News …

… but an update all the same!
Knitting hasn’t really happened recently for a variety of reasons. Mainly the fact that my husband recently purchased a Wii, so I have been playing that lots and lots 
Also, life has been hectic because someone bumped my car yesterday, so need to get that sorted. Gah. And the cats all managed to escape during the night and got caught in the rain. Very hectic.
Knitting news has been more theoretical, than actual doing. I had to frog my Booga Bag because I used completely the wrong set of needles. I am now about 1/3 through it again. And the faceted gems lace wrap has taken a back seat too. I have admitted defeat for the time being as I am find it extremely difficult, particularly what that yarn. So I am going to try a more simple lace pattern, then the lace wrap with a yarn that is not so gentile, and then, eventually, try again! I don’t want to waste the yummy purple yarn on it 
It’s not often I admit defeat.
So, I have decided to do Branching Out [knitty.com] in some Rowan Damask yarn that I picked up because it was yummy!
So, that’s my news. Not much, but news indeed.
OMG, I soooo want a WII. I already love video games, so a Wii. I’m *green* with envy. I totally give you a pass for playing Wii and not knitting.
