Mardy Monday

I have decided to add a new feature to my website.
Most (normal!) people detest Mondays. Monday is the beginning of the new working week and the weekend seems a million miles away. So, each Monday I think I will put something up that I find quite amusing, something to cheer everyone up slightly.
This week, I have chosen a classic. I love this! For full effect, make sure you have your volume on!
Presenting, The Llama Song!
In knitting news, I have started the second of my socks and the jumper I am knitting is the Slanted Neck Pullover from Interweave Knits Spring 2007. I am using some gorgeous purple Rowan Kid Classic and I love it. It knits up so soft.
Also, my yarn hiatus may soon be over. In todays post I received the Interweave Crochet magazine from last Spring. In it, is the beautiful crochet blanket that Lixie has made. I was looking all round for some suitable yarn for it as the recommended stuff costs a small fortune. Unfortunately, all yarn that I could find cost a small fortune. However, I have just discovered elann.com and they have some pure wool at pennies! For the blanket, I need 19 (yes, nineteen) different colours and a ball in each. If I did that and shipped, from Canada, through surface mail, then pure wool would come out at ~£1.60 per 50g! Which is madness. Madness, I tell thee. So am now in a quandry.
In non knitting news, my little car is going in the garage in a couple of weeks. There are a couple of bumps on it. Only one bump is from me. The other is from a neighbour. But it’ll be good to get my little car all better again.
