SP12 – The End
Posted By Laura on September 27, 2008
Well, SP12 is coming to an end. I received my final package today and am about to send out my final package. I received all these wonderful goodies today:
It is from Judith, whose blog I don’t know yet. She is American and themed this as New York. She has included some gorgeous Schaefer Elaine, which I see being a gorgeous scarf – not sure which one yet as there are lots that I would like to knit! Some gorgeous Austermann sock yarn, which is going to be a pair of socks rather soon, methinks. I need some mindless knitting for during the week as my FPS is just too intricate for evening knitting after a long day at school. She also sent me some gorgeous stitch markers, a funky snowglobe, little mug, a magnet, a tape measure and some rather yummy sweeties. Yum.
Thank you for everything, Judith. I have had a blast this time round.
I have neglected my blog for a bit as school is really busy. The class are rather fussy and in a couple of weeks we have a royal visitor to open the new building. Said royal visitor is going to be coming into my class, so I have been trying to come up with a super lesson for him to see. We have also been organising a school trip to Magna and just trying to get through the sheer amount of work we have to fit in (somehow) has been rather time consuming and extremely tiring. This week has been particularly tiring as I have been arriving before 8am and leaving around 6pm every single day. And I am still not fully organised. Brought home some marking for this weekend and am not doing anything else school related.
In knitting news, I am on tier 3 (of 23!) of my Forest Path Stole. It is slow going due to said issues. It’s actually a rather easy pattern if you know the basics of entrelac. I don’t like nupps, though. Horrible things that they are!
