Seeing as you said it first, I'll say it too. I hate it. It's soooooooo itchy. I love Lizard Ridge and would love to knit it, but there is no similar yarn.....thank god, but shame!!!!

I've knitted socks in the Noro sock yarn and the first one took me three attempts to cast on as it kept snapping. I was unsure about the thickness and thinness about the yarn, but it didn't snap again, and was even quite good when it got to grafting the toe. I will have to rid the yarn from my memory though, before I knit socks with it again. It was a bit hard going, but yes, lovely colours.

I'm sorry to tell you, but Noro Kureyon sock yarn isn't much better. I never thought I'd say I hated any yarn. But Noro Kureyon I hate. I've heard Silk Garden is better :) There is hope!

Aww, shame about the hat, i've made a few of them! I've heard about a new shop nearer to us than Ollerton by the way. I've not been yet, just visited their website.
