FO: Umbilical Cord Hat

Pattern: Umbilical Cord Hat from Stitch ‘n’ Bitch: The Knitter’s Handbook
Yarn: Debbie Bliss Rialto
Needles: 4mm DPNs
I am still on my baby knitting quest! This was a really cute, quick knit. It took less than a day. I used DK instead of Aran weighted yarn so used smaller needles than the pattern stated. I love this hat. It is just so cute! Rialto is an ok yarn to use. Slightly splitty but ok. So yes, not a lot more I can say about this. It is a newborn size so babba can wear it straightaway. Yay!
I have also started knitting Sheldon from knitty. It’s a rather cute little turtle. I am using different colours than green so the turtle will look rather different, but that’s ok. I like different! So does Suzy, apparently.
Silly ol’ cat.
I shall take photos of the BSJ when I put buttons on. Yay! Think that would probably do for baby knitting. I thought about doing another Elijah but may pass on it. I don’t know. Hmmmmmm.
Ha ha!!!! umbilical cord hat is so funny and yet so apt!!!!! Hope you’re well. x
