Happy New Year!

Goodness me. It’s finally 2010. I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and a good New Year. We all did here, in the purple household. It was fantastic as we had our first Christmas with our little one, who is now nearly 5 months. I can’t believe it!
I realise I have been a rather bad blogger in the last 5 months. But as you can tell, there has been a reason for it. I shall try and do better this year. I have been knitting and doing stuff recently so I shall start blogging about all that soon, too. I have been doing housey stuff including a new blankie, a cushion cover, and *ahem* a pair of socks. I also raided the John Lewis sale and purchased some yarn from The Woolly Workshop which is sadly closing down. I shall miss them.
I have also joined Project 365. I saw it on Heather’s blog and thought that it would be a good way back into blogging. I am already a few days behind, because today is the 4th, but hopefully I’ll have the camera out most days. I have many things to photograph and, for Christmas, I got a Joby Gorillapod Tripod which I haven’t used yet.
So, the reasons to do it are there, now I just need to do it. I shall make it a resolution! Yay! As well as to go out more (not to the pub, that is, but for walks, to NT places, that sort of thing :p ).

I’m glad you’re joining in! We can encourage each other to keep it going. I’m really excited about it, I’ve never consciously tried to take a photo every day. And to make them interesting.
I can’t believe that Baby Purple is 5 months old either, doesn’t time fly!
