The Sunflower Project – Week 1

The last couple of weeks have been rather busy in the purple household. I have been trying to sort out our ‘junk’ room so that I have a nice little crafty room. I’m not sure if it’s big enough but that’s a whole other story. Niamhy and I have also been doing a little bit of planting of seeds. I have purchased for her a watering can and her own little trowel and we have been having lots of fun planting lots of seeds in pots. I’m not expecting much from some of them but she is enjoying watering them and had loads of fun planting them. And that’s what it’s all about.

I don’t often post lots of pictures of my daughter but these were too cute to resist. She had such fun.

Anyway, the *real* reason for this post!

We planted some sunflower seeds and after one week they have already started sprouting. I am well impressed. So, I thought it would be quite good to see the progress, on a week by week basis, in pictures. I’m not expecting too much as I am *not* a gardener. At all. But, anyway, here is week one:
